The CBA defines the stipulations of GTA and GRA appointments. It is central to the relationship between the Union and University.

If you are looking for your rights as a GA, please refer to Article 5 of the CBA, which details Member Rights and Working Conditions, Article 6, which covers the Appointment of Grad Students, and Article 8, which discusses Compensation and Benefits.

We encourage GAs to monitor their hours to ensure that they are averaging no more than 19 hours/week over the course of an appointment. Here is a provided template for recording hours.
